One ♥

Image from WeHeartIt.
(I planned to take a balloon shot myself, but it's cloudy today, and I don't have any helium..)

I am now one year into the blogging sphere.
More has changed than stayed the same in my life this past year. I've found the man of my life, I've spilled plenty of coffee, I've changed camera from D60 to D90 and I've already taken 9999 pictures with it (it's stops counting after that and switches to number from 1 again), I've worked as a photographer at Verket and I so, so hope to continue, I've been for plenty of amazing walks all around Larvik (thanks A♥), I've been singing a lot more (thanks to the choir), I re-discovered the warm sound of a cassette player, and I've realized that un-comfortable heels are just not for me.

I wanted to blog so I could inspire others in whatever way I could. Because that's what I found so appealing about blogs in general, the way they can inspire you and brighten your day. And, frankly, having CFS/ME I really enjoy having something to do since I still have to stay at home a lot.

And now, one year into it, I thought I'd ask you guys;

What do you think of the blog so far?
Is there something I should change?
What do you want to see more/less of?
Should I do one of those "questions" round that other people do?

  1. I like your blog the way it is :) so please don't change anything about it. I think your photos are great and also the clothes you show us are interesting and inspiring 4 me:) But "question" round is a good idea, do it ;]

  2. Happy 1st Birthday to Clumsy, creative bliss!
I really like your blog. I think you are cute and witty. Your titles for post are always interesting, your outfits are cuter each time! and I love your crisp clear photos :)
I can't believe you've only been doing this for one year! I wish sometimes that I had more time to spend online... I love all your headers and backgrounds too!
    I guess I have a couple questions :)
How do you make your backgrounds and headers?
And what are your thoughts on including your friends pictures in your blog? I am a pretty solitary person, but I'm afraid that on here I look like a complete loner! I'm a bit uncomfortable with posting other peoples pictures online. (Nobody in my "real" life knows about my blog, so I can't really ask them for permission...) Thoughts??
It means I have to leave so many photos out :(

  4. Happy blog birthday! I really love your blog. Your photography is amazing, your outfits are lovely, and you seem like a really wonderful person. I think a question round would be a wonderful idea. Also, a giveaway would be cool if it were something unique, but I don't think giveaways are a necessary part of a blog.

Bursdagsklem til deg og bloggen din! Gratulere med et år! :)

  8. Your blog is for me one of the best blog ever. Really! Your post are pure, smart with the taste of romance. So please do not stop with blogging :-)
If you have time to make pics of your lovely dresses with scarves I will be delighted.
If you have a mood to say something about you, your dreams, feelings, plans and thoughts, I am looking forward to it.
But be the same natural as you have presented yourself so far.

  12. mrita - this is amazing, right? a year passing so quickly, but when looking back, there are so much has happened - w/ blog, you even get to view the entire journey ....

as for suggestions - i think we all have to try to experiment and figure out what works for us - and what not! Changes are both good and scary - because, you know, some people will like it and some will not - but, i always question myself "what's important for me" ... giveaways, interviews... are all great way to interact with your audiences - that is if it is the reasons behind - so, do whatever you need to if it feels right - and you will weight out the options along the way, xx

  17. Liss: Takk :)

  20. Barry Schwartz: I do what I can, that's the best anyone can do, disability or not. And it's really as much for my own sake as for others :) I love doing things, it's just too bad that I still have to energy economize some. But I will get all well :) I'll just have to give it time and plenty of calm.

  24. Happy Birthday, Marita Bliss blog! Hehe I especially enjoy seeing your cute outfits. But I think you should continue to post about whatever you're interested in, whether that's photography or button rings or kittens or coffee or Andreas. :) We like you for who you are. So as long as you're being yourself we will enjoy it!
