One ♥

Image from WeHeartIt.
(I planned to take a balloon shot myself, but it's cloudy today, and I don't have any helium..)

I am now one year into the blogging sphere.
More has changed than stayed the same in my life this past year. I've found the man of my life, I've spilled plenty of coffee, I've changed camera from D60 to D90 and I've already taken 9999 pictures with it (it's stops counting after that and switches to number from 1 again), I've worked as a photographer at Verket and I so, so hope to continue, I've been for plenty of amazing walks all around Larvik (thanks A♥), I've been singing a lot more (thanks to the choir), I re-discovered the warm sound of a cassette player, and I've realized that un-comfortable heels are just not for me.

I wanted to blog so I could inspire others in whatever way I could. Because that's what I found so appealing about blogs in general, the way they can inspire you and brighten your day. And, frankly, having CFS/ME I really enjoy having something to do since I still have to stay at home a lot.

And now, one year into it, I thought I'd ask you guys;

What do you think of the blog so far?
Is there something I should change?
What do you want to see more/less of?
Should I do one of those "questions" round that other people do?

The origins of both the activity of barbecue cooking and the word itself are somewhat obscure.

My rose.
Some beer.
My plate.
Rosemary yumness.
Sun and shadows.

Summer ♥ ?

Hot, cold, sunny or cloudy. Who knows, Norwegians summers can be so random. And I get cold easily, so I always have to bring a cardigan and a scarf.

How is the summer where you live?

The first reference to "coffee" in the English language, in the form chaoua, dates to 1598.

Me and A had another amazing weekend at my family's cabin in Hallevannet, still fixing the pictures and will post some soon.

Well at home I still have some work to do with the CD-cover job at Verket.

So I went there today and pretended to work. Yes, I didn't get much done really, I mostly drank coffee and tried to wake up. But I did find some sheets of scrap-book paper that I'm gonna use. So the day wasn't a total waste, work-wise I mean.

Did you get any work done today?

An arthropod is an invertebrate animal having an exoskeleton (external skeleton), a segmented body, and jointed appendages.

Malene and me made plans for a shrimp-lunch last Thursday.

So I brought over some white bread, a lemon some garnish and a glass og white wine for each of us. Malene had found some coffee tables in the cellar and brought them out in the garden, where we sat on sofa cushions and ate sandwiches and enjoyed the sun.

A lovely day.

Ring, ring.

Hello?

(I guess it was A calling)

So sorry (to you readers) for wearing the same pants and ballerinas for the 'nth time, I haven't exactly been experimental lately. I hope I'm not boring you guys too much.
Today's dress is from Ebay, and the fantastic phone is the one I got at this years first flea-market.

Soap bubbles usually last for only a few moments before bursting, either on their own or on contact with another object.

I spent a couple of hours at Verket, trying to figure out how to make the CD-cover. Heidi taught me how to use In-Design, so that made the job easier.

After that I went up to Passagen and waited for Bente to arrive, I had a birthday present for her; soap-bubbleling goodness! Soon after Malene and her mothers dog Frida arrived, then Johnny, then Maria and at last Malene's boyfriend Øystein.

We sat and chatted in the sun and drank coffee. I asked Malene if my shoulders where getting sun-burned, and she said no, then when I left Maria pointed out that they where.
Darn. Well, it's not that bad, just a bit, next time I will have to bring some sun-lotion !

What SPF do you use for your skin? I usually go for 20 or 15.

What I wore:
Thrifted skirt turned dress, DIY elastic belt, Vero Moda jeans leggings, Ellos ballerinas, a vintage bag and a scarf borrowed from mom.

Morten.

My name is Morten.
Nice to meet you.
My name is Morten, watch me watch you!
My name is Morten, and I might bite you.
My name is Morten, and I fell over.
..But that's okay, I'll get up if I feel like it.
My name is Morten, and now I'm tired, goodnight ♥

Roses, coffee and pencils.

Welcome in.
Beate and Cecilie.
Live Verket.
Heidi sat here.
At my seat. I went nuts.
Flowers, like the ones I made with Oliane
Black hearts for pepper.

Heidi invited me to Verket for lunch, not having to much to do (or rather; avoiding doing any work) I gladly accepted. My trusted Nikon with my fav lens in my bag and enough coffee in my system I headed out.

When I arrived I was surprised to see the table made for several people, plates and glasses and coloring pencils for all. The lunch was for the employees at Verket, and us volunteers.

There was speeches and laughs, and flowers and gift-cards.
