Because red is not by itself standardized, color mixtures based on red are not exact specifications of color either.

The leafs are turning red and the air has a certain cold bite to it that gets colder every day. The sun shines her rays but they gives less and less warmth it seems. Despite the cold I love taking walks in both sun-bathing and cloud-lurking days in autumn, as long as I'm properly dresses so I won't get cold.

But the sun already disappears sooner that I would want it to.

Luckily I've finally taken up reading, hehe. So far I'm almost finished with a Dean Koontz book, started one of Terry Pratchett's and I'm planning to read some Stephen King.

Yea, I am actually STILL wearing this dress
(I think I might have to wash it soon, oh the horror, what will I wear?!);

Dress from Gina Tricot, bought on sale in Oslo, jeans leggings from Vero Moda, thrifted cardigan, CMYK bag, SoftWalk boots, Marc Jacobs cherry watch (which don't really show the time any more, but I don't mind) and a tube-scarf I've heard is being called a snood? I'm not calling in that, that's even more stupid than jeggings. Actually jeggings isn't all that bad, but I usually write jeans leggings anyway.

In computing (specifically data transmission and data storage), a block is a sequence of bytes or bits, having a nominal length (a block size).

I think I'm having a bit of a writers block. Even though I don't really write a lot here, and I don't really push it to be good writing either. I just want it to be short and, if I can manage, sort of fun.

Anyway, since I don't know what to write here's some fun-facts about me you may and may not know:
~I'm a neat-freak.
~Whenever I'm bored and I have one of my note-books to accompany me but nothing to write I will doodle either swirls or hearts.
~I love to cook, and even more than that I love garlic (no vampires for me !).
~If I put a task off by just a day I will almost certainly feel really, really bad about it to the point where I'll just not do it (haha, that's so incredible useless, trying to change that one).
~I used to play the guitar, now I just sing.

SoftWalk shoes were created on the belief that a better footbed makes a better shoe.

I've got myself a new pair of shoes. They're SoftWalk, so they're supposed to be comfortable. I hope they are, because my poor back can't really take another winter of high heels. Not that any of my high heeled shoes are really that high at all, hehe.
Kitty has no shoes, she's only got her pretty pink paws. Much, much cuter than any shoe I will ever find ♥

A notebook (also notepad, writing pad, drawing pad, legal pad, etc.) is a book,of which various uses can be made, including writing and drawing.

Notebooks and other crafty things. I have several notebooks.

One for ideas, one for "work", one as a diary and several as drawing books. I absolutely love cute notebooks, there's almost always one in my bag, and it's usually always full of lists.

I tend to forget what I'm supposed to do or where I'm supposed to be, so I make lists to keep track of everything, hehe.

Notebooks and post-its.
They're all over the place. I'm glad A doesn't seem to mind ♥
I like my notebooks so much I decided to get them they're own tag in my tag cloud, over here somewhere ->

I've worn this with a black cardigan, I'm so boring:

Autumn looks ♥

Softwalk Bari boots, comfy tube scarf, a plain pair of jeans, a top or dress, a waterfall cardigan and some red accessory.

This is my dream Autumn look.

Too bad I can't get my hands on those boots, they don't ship overseas. But what I can look for, or make, is something red. I love the brooch, but it's over 500 dollars! No way. Oh well, I'll find something suitable ♥

The word green is closely related to the Old English verb growan, “to grow”.

Ulkåsen.

Ulkåsen.

Green is such a lovely color. To me it's about nature, soft light-green leaves at spring and the dark green of the pine-trees. I associate green with growth and a quite promising calm, in the city a light shade of green is a perfect reminder of the forest that you can't quite see.
In the subtractive color system it's not a primary color, but is made by mixing yellow with cyan. In RYB, the color system I learned at art-school, green is made by mixing yellow and blue,ah what fun we had sticking pieces of colored paper onto systematized sheet, haha.
I use a lot of green when I decorate, mostly in forms of plants, but also in pillows and nick-nacks. But it's pretty much always just a detail, in the pattern or a small surface. Little or plenty, I really love green ♥

Coffee has played a crucial role in many societies throughout history.

Coffee and such. If I had more money I'd drink ice-coffee, yum. But as a volunteer at Verket I get free coffee, just the regular kind, so I'm saving my money and sticking with the hot one. And now that September is here it's to cold for ice anyway.

All thees (also here, here and here) pictures I've taken with my new lens, a Sigma 24mm F1.8.

Sigma 24mm

I usually try to stick with Nikon, it's generally a good rule to buy lenses from the company that made your camera body. But with the 24mm I just didn't have the money to spit in the 2300 dollars it costs. Haha, man, that price is insane!

The Sigma is way, way cheaper, and the minimum shooting distance is as close as 18cm (that means you can get real close to your subjects). For some reason they call it macro. But it is of course not a real macro lens, true macro has a reproduction ratio at 1:1, the Sigma has 1:2.7, so not macro but almost.

The wide aperture is also something to love, with 1.8 you can take pictures in dim light with a decent shutter speed. I plan to use it at concerts and in dim light cafès, I hope it'll hold up! I'm loving it so far.

Over time, the term creativity came to include human innovation, especially in art and science and led to the emergence of the creative class.

Me and Heidi took some pictures of things to be creative with. Pens and pencils, beads and paint, paper and wire. All in use at Verket's Hobby-day, if you figure out what to do with them.
