Autumn is here.
You can feel it in the air now.

I don't think there will be any more opportunities to wear shorts and sandals, and my straw hats don't go well with autumn either! Darn.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to layer it up then. All new. Or more of the old just in a new way?

Meadowsweet has also been referred to as Queen of the Meadow, Pride of the Meadow, Meadow-Wort, Meadow Queen, Lady of the Meadow, Dollof, Meadsweet, and Bridewort. 

The Vikings sometimes flavored their honey based mead, a type of ale which in Norwegian we call mjød, with  Meadowsweet.

The flowers has such a sweet and lovely scent, and there has been so much of it this year!

White is a color, the perception of which is evoked by light that stimulates all three types of color sensitive cone cells in the human eye in nearly equal amounts and with high brightness compared to the surroundings.

The coastline in Vestfold is amazing.

We went for a walk with out cameras by the coast at the beginning of the summer.

We parked the car right next to a wheat field and cut through a forest. From there we arrived at a dirt road with trees covered in magical, white flowers at both sides of the road.

It was so beautiful ♥

July is long gone and August is here, the late-summer month or sensommer as we call it. There's been some cold days now, I had to wear a jacket this morning.

There's been both rain and sunshine, wind like a autumn-storm, thunder and lightning, from 27°C down to 15°C and then up again. Sometimes all in one day. That's the Norwegian summer in a nutshell.
