At BanzaiCon 3 in Larvik last weekend !
My anime watching and manga reading days are long over, but if you can get into a con with a camera you're sure to have a good time. And lots and lots of pictures.
Pretty much all my friends volunteer at this event, which isn't that surprising since they all, in some way or another, are involved in making the entire thing happen. And happen it sure did!
Happy faces, origami, laughing, Ocarina playing, ball jointed dolls, picture taking and one tired Marita when it was all over.
Next year I think I'll join Idril at the BJD stand ♥

Very nice collection, remembers me a lot Kirk Tuck's way of shooting events. Well done!
ReplyDeleteAt events like this I want the genuine emotions and joy ♥
ReplyDeleteWith the low depth of field I want to try to isolate each and every person, so we can see them completely, catch a glimpse of their soul so to say.
Haha, I'm such a hippie ;)
Thank you, his photography is amazing, definitely a likeness to strive towards ♥
Kirk is brilliant. I read his blog carefully, he's a very sane artistic voice in an internet crowded with people attached to sheer photo gadgetry caring a little for true art.
ReplyDelete... And I love your style, it's organic and developed in a very natural way. You are very young, I can't expect from you nothing less than a porfolio worthy of envy ;)
He is. I just found it, love his writing. And there was something so familiar about the name! Which wasn't that surprising, since I already have two of his books ;) hehe.

massive amounts of fun! loved the Harry Potter rendition, such a cool event and a haven for photographers to go picture crazy :) i'd love to go to something like this, what a blast! ♥
ReplyDeleteMay (yes, a girl, haha) is an excellent Harry Potter !
DeleteI love picture taking at events like this ♥
But going through everything afterwards and having to decide which pictures to keep and which to trash is awful x) ! I want to keep everything, but there is no way I'm making room for it all. Hehe.
