It's unusual even here, we live right by the coast so it's generally not cold enough for that much snow. But that particular year even the fjord froze over, you could drive cars on it xD It's gotta be pretty cold for salt-water to freeze x)
Not this year though. There's snow but +2 degrees, so it's probably going to melt real soon.
oh how i'm longing for the snow we had last winter, over one meter, the whole city under snow, magical :)

DeleteBut winter a couple of years ago 3 meter fell, and it stayed for 3 months. The fun stops at 1 meter x) haha.
