I finally made myself a proper logo.
I even buckled down and made it in Illustrator, which is the program in my little Adobe student package I'm least familiar with.
I've used two sans serif fonts, Caviar Dreams and, my all time favorite, Gill Sans.
The line underneath my name is a a pen stroke with ink spills, in a bit of a clean and simple ordered mess.
Ordered mess..? My favorite *laughs*
Any thoughts?
I love that it has no colours, but also isn't just black! Those spills are exactly what express your creative thinkink in the middle of minimalistic and beautiful mind!
ReplyDeleteOnly thing I would change - I would slightly move the second letter "a" in Marita, because the space between t and a looks slightly wider because of different letters spaces. (mark those two letters and use this function: http://www.jpeg.cz/images/2013/02/06/khU0Q.jpg)
But it's quite ok in your signature, when there are the spills :).¨

DeleteI'll fiddle around with it a bit, but I'm always careful when it comes to changing letter-spacing like that. I am no typographist, wish I was better at it but alas I'm not, so I'm a bit scared I'll just mess it up x)
